Well Toby how was it get the ball from your HERO? Keep up the hard work and don't get discouraged by that one idiot blogger. I watched most of your games and it looks like your ahead of the learning curve in most areas. Just keep diggin and all will work out for you. Good luck tomorrow against the N.O. Saints. Jim

Toby,

It was fun watching you last week. DVR set for the game against SF this week. Keep truckin Kid. You've been working for this a long time. Your interview sounded like your enjoying yourself. Keep up the good work and have as much fun as possible. Jim

Hey way to go Toby. And nice chip block on Edwards ;) Not sure what he expects, they are going to do it to him in the regular season might as well do it in practice so he gets used to seeing it.

I'm looking forward to seeing you play bro - run hard and hold on to the ball (ya that was a poke at AP lol) and you never know what will happen!

It would not surprise me in the least if TG ends up with a more expanded role in the backfield as the year progresses. Even if AP stays healthy as well as TG, I truly believe it's just a matter of time before Toby moves toward becoming the starter or at least they will share equal time. I'd love to see an offensive scheme with them in the backfield at the same time. Dominant!

Many in the media thought he was not even the best back in the PAC-10 at the 09 preseason, but where did he end up.............in NYC at the Heisman! TG has the unique ability to prove everyone wrong that ever doubted him.

Congrats Toby. I'm guessing that provided you stay healthy, your next contract will be enormous.
You deserve even more based on Ryan Matthews deal with SD. Granted, he's expected to fill shoes immediately, but if he is worthy of a $25M deal, then Toby is a minimum $18-20M easy. But, TG.......you will have your big payday yet..provided you stay healthy.

Welcoming him to the NFL is all fine and dandy but I heard he stood over him taunting TG and that frankly is about as classless as you can get. Then he goes on to say that these college guys get paid like they've been playing in the NFL for years. Well, I'm sure they were saying the same thing when PW first came into the NFL too. He should be happy for any player that can get all they can because the shelf life of an NFL player is very short. GO TG.
